135th Street Elementary School is proud to offer a Spanish Dual Language Program for students in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade.
 
In Dual Language Education, students receive instruction in all content areas in both English and a second language.  Students in the Dual Language Program receive instruction in Spanish for a minimum of 50% of each school day.  The goals of the program are bilingualism and biliteracy, academic achievement in both languages, and sociocultural competence.
