Summer School
CALKIDS - FREE MONEY FOR COLLEGE
 
Parents, please don't forget to register your child's CalKids Account. Here's what you’ll need to register an account for a student participant: Statewide Student Identifier (SSID), or the unique CalKIDS code (included in the letter you received or will receive). Please contact your school or school district to find your SSID. Student’s date of birth. Name of the County where the student was enrolled in public school as of the Fall Academic Census Day 2021 (October 6, 2021). 

Did you know you can also enroll Newborns in the CalKIDS Savings Program? Here's What you’ll need to register an account for a newborn participant: Local Registration Number (located on your child’s birth certificate) or unique CalKIDS code (included in the letter you received or will receive). Your child’s date of birth. Name of the County in which the child’s birth was registered. CalKIDS receives information on newborns approximately 90 days after birth is registered with California Department of Public Health.

COACH FOR KIDS - MOBILE MEDICAL CLINICS
 
Cedars-Sinai COACH is Community Outreach Assistance for Children’s Health.
They offer mobile medical clinics for kids. The medical clinic is dedicated to meeting the immediate medical, behavioral health, and community needs of the South Los Angeles underserved pediatric patient population.
COACH for Kids provides free transitional medical care and social support services while connecting patients and their families to integrated quality healthcare and other community resources.
Services are provided in the community Monday through Thursday, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., and periodically on weekends.COACH
UTILITY ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS
 
SoCal Gas Company

The Gas Assistance Fund (GAF) may be able to provide you or someone you know with a one-time grant. These funds are on a first-come, first-served basis. To qualify for GAF, you must meet the following requirements: *Gas bill must be in the name of the applicant requesting assistance. *The applicant must meet the income guidelines. DWP
 
The Department of Water & Power is offering financial assistance with LADWP Utility Bills. Multiple programs through LADWP are available to assist individuals with paying their utility bills. Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps eligible income-qualified households to manage and meet their immediate home heating and/or cooling needs. LIHEAP can offer a benefit of up to $3,000 to help. *Households must meet income requirements. To apply visit this link.
