Parent Engagement

Parental involvement is essential for student success. We encourage you to continue to be involved with your child's education by talking with your child about school and their future, assisting with homework, reading with all your children, meeting your child's teachers, and participating in school meetings and organizations.

Student Safety is #1 Safety Valet Program

School Safety Valet Program

Student Safety is our number 1 priority.  Two years ago, we started the Safety Valet Program on 135th Street and last year we launched the Safety Valet Program on 134th Street.  The program is designed to improve the safety of our students when they are dropped off by car at school in the morning.  Morning drop offs are more safer and more efficient.  Your continued patience, cooperation, and cheerfulness in the valet line is appreciated and will help ensure our students’ safety.

Also, we are always looking for cheerful volunteers to help!  If you are interested in becoming a Safety Valet Volunteer, please come by the main office and ask to speak with Ms. Heredia (TSP Coordinator).
